Blood Metals Panel

Using state-of-the-art inductively coupled plasma/mass spectroscopy, the Blood Metals Panel screens a total of 16 elements to show elevated exposure or imbalances in whole blood. This test includes testing of the nutrient elements Calcium, Copper, Lithium, Magnesium, Manganese, Molybdenum, Selenium, and Zinc; and toxic metals Antimony, Arsenic, Cadmium, Lead, Mercury, and potentially toxic metals: Cobalt, Silver, and Strontium.

Mercury Tri-Test

Quicksilver Scientific’s CLIA-certified laboratory specializes in advanced mercury speciation analysis using the Mercury Tri-Test. This test utilizes patented advanced technology that separates methyl mercury from inorganic mercury and measures each independently. Samples of blood, urine, and hair are taken to help practitioners and patients understand the magnitude and source of mercury exposure, as well as the body’s ability to eliminate it.

Test Requirements

Sames of whole blood, urine, and hair are required.
BLOOD: This is a direct measure of metals in the body.
URINE: Mercury (II) excretes through the kidneys and, if present, is found in the urine.
HAIR: Methyl mercury passes through the liver. Hair mercury concentration is proportional to blood methylmercury concentrations.

A complete guide to sample collection is included in the kit sent to your home.
